Before entering private practice in 1996, Attorney Ann Mary Weaver worked for the Columbia County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney from 1991 through 1996 as a DWI Prosecutor specializing in prosecution and presentment of felony matters to the Grand Jury.
She received her Juris Doctor in May 1991 from Quinnipac Law School, Cum Laude, while serving as a member of the Probate Law Journal. Attorney Weaver was admitted to the New York State Appellate Division- Third Judicial Department in 1992.
Attorney Weaver is currently a member of the Law Guardian panel acting as an Attorney for the Child in Columbia County; a Foreclosure Referee in Ulster, Greene, Columbia and Dutchess Counties. She has been a member of numerous Bar Associations and served on the Dutchess County Bar Association, Grievance committee investigating Ethical allegations against attorneys in Dutchess County.
In her private practice, Attorney Weaver's practice concentrates in Criminal, Matrimonial and Family Law, Real Estate Transactions, Estate Planning and Settlement and the general practice of Law. Criminal Defense work includes the successful acquittal of misdemeanor and felony matters, felony-murder and murder trials.
